The R16
With an extremely compact chassis design, our R16 features all of the benefits of much larger machines, with closed dimensions that facilitate access through a single doorway. By utilizing a twin telescopic top boom section as opposed to a single section, our R16 can reach a maximum working height of 16 metres, the most compact 16 metre powered access platform in it’s class today.
Performance features: 16 metres maximum working height; 6.5 metres horizontal outreach; 200kgs maximum capacity; 1780kgs gross weight; bi–energy powered for operation indoors as well as outside.
With a small stabilizer base area (2.7 x 2.7 metres). The R16 is ideal for accessing and working in confined spaces.
Simplicity of design is also very important in our experience, with the live hydraulic proportional controls being extremely easy to use.
Our R16 access platform is available with a 2 man (200kgs) cage / capacity option, with power coming from a modern clean running petrol engine, plus an AC electric motor for quiet, pollution free operation indoors. Full machinery protection, AC power outlet in the cage and high pressure air and water connections are all standard features.
With all these features, our R16 Access Platform coupled with its compact dimensions offers unrivalled flexibility on a machine of this size.
A Safety Harness, Waterproof / Windpoof High Visibility Jacket and Overtrousers, Gloves, Hand Warmers and Safety Glasses are provided free of charge for use with every hire.
